Idaho

We were up in Idaho for about 2 months. Andy was there probably 3-4 weeks if you add all of his time together. We sure missed him while he was back taking his finals for about 3 weeks. I will be excited to finally celebrate my birthday with him maybe this year or next. It depends on how we decide to move back. Birthdays just aren't the same without those you love.

Emma and Jackson loved being in Idaho. They loved time with cousins, grandparents and people that love them. They are both growing and developing so much every day. I think Grandpa Sparks enjoyed them a lot more than they know. The last night we were there, I heard Jackson's door squeak open to only find a few minutes later a very happy Jackson watching the Fiesta Bowl with the boys. I don't know who was more pleased with himself: Grandpa or him. Emma loved playing with Abby every moment. Even a month later, she talks about Abby daily. She misses her so much. I hope they get to see each other sooner than later.

Emma also loved spending time with Uncle Travis. When we went to Andy's parents' ward, Emma insisted to go to nursery. Unfortunately, because of weather, we had planned to go back for dinner to hurry home before it got dark. I know it is horrible but we had to talk her out of staying at church. We asked her if she wanted to go to Grandma's house. No. Nursery. Do you want to go to Grandpa's house? No. Nursery. Do you want to go to Travis' house? Yes! Little did she know that they were all the same place.

We had the Adams' celebration of Thanksgiving on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Emma loved playing with Kayelee and the other cousins. Kayelee likes to tell her what to do but for the most part, Emma doesn't mind. Either that or she just silently does what she was going to do originally. They were fun to watch and Emma showed us how much she enjoyed dressing up like a princess and not just watching them on shows. That's when we decided to get her a dress up trunk that Christmas. It was a hit to say the least. I will post more on that day. I have to get better at this.
