Andy is very insistent that Jackson do "boy" things. Whenever possible, he will give him the football to play with to get him used to the role. He came home to Jackson having a tea party with Emma. It doesn't help that the whole tea set is pink for Andy. He asks me to give him a knife or kill a deer and put it next to him to make him more manly. The quickest way I can get Andy's attention is putting a pink bib on Jackson. You would think that the boy was choking by how quickly he moves. I don't think Andy enjoys me harassing him by testing how strongly he feels about the issue. I wonder what he is going to do when he wakes up to Jackson playing with Emma's princess Memory game. That will get him to not take such a long nap next time.

Emma went to her first Princess Party. One of my friends just had all of the little girls Emma's age to come over in their princess outfits to have a little Valentine party. They were all in their dresses but at different times as there was decorating cookies and snacks in the activities so I didn't want her to ruin her dress. They made Valentines for their dads, decorated cookies, had snacks and played all over the places. She had planned for them to be in their outfits and dance to princess music but we didn't really get to it. I noticed that none of these girls are really "girlie". They love wearing dresses and everything but were out in the dirt the next moment. I guess the one that is the daintiest is Kate and she was taking a nap during this picture. This girl makes me laugh because she will run into whoever's house it is and try on all of their shoes. How can you have a shoe fettish at 20 months?
I have just realized that I still haven't gotten pictures in her princess dresses that we got her for Christmas. I'll have to do that because she and Abby spent the rest of the time that they were in Idaho as princesses. It was so fun.
